Why I Love And Need Unique Shoes
Lately I have heard a few people ask, "Who needs more then three pairs of shoes?" I guess that's a pair for work, play and special occasions. Now I would not have any problem with that conservative point of view..But who does that?
I am not saying this is not possible, indeed it could be. Could you honestly look in your closet and see "three" pairs of shoes a black, brown and white pair. How boring would that be? A couple of weeks ago we were out at a club and I swear I saw 12 women walking by with black heels and sandals. They thought they were standing out..Wrong! They all looked the same. I asked my friends with me to look, and at that moment they too realized they did look the same. Then the phone calls began to come in (in which I will never complain). "Come over lets look at my shoes, can we go shopping, can you make a couple pair of shoes for me?"
This is the main reason why I try to create designs for shoes that not only make a statement but also standout as unique shoes as well. I love going into someones closet and taking all those black or brown shoes and give an explosion of color. That's what draws me to unique shoes.
